I get up in the dark every morning. The light switch is right next to this picture so it's the first thing I see. It reminds me to keep in perspective what's important. The picture was taken at the beach.
One Hundred Years

One hundred years from now
it will not matter what kind of house
I lived in, how much money I had,
nor what my clothes were like, but
the world may be a little better
because I was important
in the life of a child.

S - So good to see you! I do love this poem. Perspective is always a good thing! I always felt that I was reaching kids, albeit at a different level at the library when they had a good experience volunteering or at a program. I'm sure HL is getting a sense of that reward from her job.
