This is a picture of the basket before it is complete. Our dear friend spends the day at the hospital at the side of her critically ill husband. Since she loves cheesecake we got her a slice from Earth Fare on the way to the hospital. A bow was added and it went in the basket. She loves purple. Everything she was wearing and everything she had with her was purple. In the basket is a mug, tea, cards, bookmarks and handmade lavendar soap.

Yesterday I took Lemon Poppy Seed muffins to her to share with her sons. I also took muffins to a couple of sweet ladies at Michaels that are going through difficult times. Muffins don't solve any problems but hopefully they will feel that there are people that love them and are praying for them. This is one of our favorite muffin recipes from Connie. The recipe is listed in a previous post if you would like to make some.
